Purpose: Demonstration of a coupled oscillator.
Description: Two small simple pendulums (a mass at the end of a piece of string) are hung from a single piece of string. The string couples the two pendulums so that they oscillate between two normal modes with a characteristic beat frequency. The coupled pendulum has a Perspex frame.
