Purpose: Generates static electricity.
Description: There are many tops and two working machines. It may be necessary to hold a charged (Perspex) rod next to the ascending belt to start it working properly. Show discharge (sparking) between the charged sphere and an earthed sphere near it, which can be pushed towards the charged sphere using an insulating rod.
