Purpose: Demonstrates Newton's 1st law.
Description: A marble rolls along the inside of an incomplete metal circle. When the marble reaches a break in the circle, the intuitive expectation is that it will continue moving in a circle. However, in a agreement with Newton’s 1st law, the ball leaves the circle in the direction of the tangent to the circle at that point (since there are no longer any resultant forces acting on it).
