Purpose: Nice demonstration of evaporative cooling.
Description: 1) Very large dippy dilly. Use water or ether on head (of dippy dilly).
2) Medium-sized dippy dilly. Use water or ether on head (of dippy dilly).
3) Medium-sized dippy dilly under Perspex case. Use water only on head (of dippy dilly). After some time enclosed case stops working, as space becomes saturated and evaporation from head ceases. Remove case and some time later action will start again.
