Bulbs Light Via Inductance

Reference: EM127
Category: Electromagnetism
Purpose: An entertaining demonstration of inductance.
Description: A small magnet in a tube slides from one end to the other when the tube is tilted. As it passes a small circuit in the centre, the changing magnetic field causes current to flow in the wire and the bulbs light up briefly. Trick question: Which bulb lights first when the magnet falls left to right, and which when it falls right to left?
