Purpose:
Description: Two bottles attached at the necks. Turn the bottles so that one bottle has all the water. Turn the bottles over and show that air has to be displaced for the liquid to flow downwards. The flow is accelerated if you spin the bottles in such a way that a small "vortex" is created allowing air up the middle and water down the sides.
